Born and raised in "Elm Thicket" of North Dallas, Texas, Christopher had spent his early years listening to the vivid stories of his family and friends. Christopher spent his summers with his great grandparents in west Dallas. He vividly remembers listening to the great stories told by his great grandmother, the minister of his church and other elders. Ever since his earliest days, he loved story telling.
Christopher McGee left Dallas in 1993 to attend Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He studied public health, humanities, and literature, as a student at the University. However, He could not escape the allure of storytelling and quickly began studying to become a novelist. He began by reading every chance he had and listening to books on audio. From classical literature to contemporary novels, Christopher's love of storytelling was uncontrollable.
Christopher McGee left college after earning his degree. He decided to move back to Dallas, where he could study people, and listen to their stories. "I became a student of life and human nature", he recalls. A few years later, Christopher began putting together what quickly became a prominent cultural education organization and planted his roots in Moors Society, Inc (www.moorssociety.com/org.). He then began writing novels, novellas, and "how to" books for his organization. His first piece was published by AuthorHouse Publishing in 2007.
Christopher McGee is the author of the Adam McGee series of mysteries: These include The Gypsy Twins, A Quiet Death, Chocolate Armadillos, Sybil Moore, Janice Burrel, Fast Fookie, and Cup Of Water.
